Tony Hawk's Pro Skater is a timeless classic. A skateboarding game that became hugely popular worldwide. While this isn't news about a new game from the legend himself, it is news about the previous titles...sort of. Tony Hawk has announced that a new documentary "Pretending I'm a Superman" will be screening later this month.

The documentary. that we reported on back in 2017, focuses on the original Tony Hawk's Pro Skater titles and has been created by Ralph D’Amato, a former Neversoft producer who worked on the games. It's also directed by Ludvig Gür and has Austin Droguett as director of photography.

The documentary looks at how skateboarding became part of the mainstream, the development of the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater games, and includes new interviews with Tony Hawk, Eric Koston, Steve Caballero, Rodney Mullen, and more.

In an Instagram post, Tony Hawk announced that the documentary will be having its first screening at the Mammoth Film Festival on February 29. There will be two screenings of the documentary, one includes a cast and crew Q&A. Tony Hawk also confirmed that he'll be in attendance along with Rodney Mullen.

An afterparty is also taking place with Tony Hawk's Pro Skater cover band, The Downhill Jam playing numerous hits from the games during the Mammoth Rock n Bowl.

The screening will be taking place on February 29 at the Minaret Cinemas in Mammoth Lakes, CA at 04:00 pm - 05:30 pm. Tickets can be purchased here.
