The PlayStation Vita was a system that just wouldn't quit. Despite the system not selling as many units as projected, the attachment rate for the handheld was always extremely high. Many indie developers would bring their titles to the system because they knew the people who owned the system would buy it. With the Vita being on its last legs, these are the current best selling games in the U.S. for the little handheld that could.

  1. Uncharted: Golden Abyss
  2. Call of Duty: Black Ops Declassified
  3. Assassin's Creed III: Liberation
  4. Mortal Kombat 2011
  5. Little Big Planet
  6. Need For Speed: Most Wanted 2012
  7. Killzone: Mercenary
  8. Persona 4 Golden (Digital Sales not included)
  9. Ultimate Marvel Vs. Capcom 3
  10. Unit 13

As noted above, digital sales for Persona 4 Golden weren't taken into consideration which could push the game up the list quite a bit.

To me, it is fascinating to see some of the earlier, bigger titles dominating the list. The system essentially turned into an indie platform for so many users, including myself, so it wouldn't have surprised me to see some smaller indie games dominate the list.

If you are an analytics nerd like myself and follow these sales charts every month, you can probably guess what title dominated those lists.
