Techland (Dying Light) announced today that it will be publishing a physical release of inXile Entertainment's (Wastland 2) game Torment: Tides of Numenera.

This news comes less than a day after inXile Entertainment announced that the game was delayed to Q1 2017.  Originally expected to come out in 2015, this marks the second time that the game has been delayed.  Reasons given for the delay are "in the interests of giving everyone the best experience" as they would have to rush to get the game out by the end of this year.

This is also the first game to come from Techland's publishing program, which was announced a last week.

According to Techland the retail version of Torment: Tides of Numenera will contain:

"a number of physical and digital bonuses that will ease players into the unique world of Numenera and further increase their immersion in the story."

While that is a very general description, it is nice to know that adopters of the physical release will get special bonuses.  Torment: Tides of Numenera is currently available digitally in Early Access on Steam.
