New VR Psychological Mystery Game Torn Officially Announced for PSVR, Oculus, and More

If you’re a huge fan of science fiction/psychological shows like The Twilight Zone or Black Mirror like I am then this is the perfect game for you. Today developer Aspyr Media announced their first game, Torn, and it’s clearly inspired by the former two series.

In Torn, players will be tasked with exploring a mansion that’s been abandoned for over 64 years. Back in 1953, a physicist by the name of Dr. Lawrence Talbot, who was on the verge of some kind of scientific breakthrough.

If you want a sense of what you’re getting with this game, then you’re in luck. A reveal trailer for the game was also released, which shows off some of the first gameplay from the mysterious title. You can check it out, as well as some screenshots, at the end of the article.

As of the time of this writing, Torn currently does not have a release date. It will, however, be making its way to PlayStation VR, HTC Vive, and Oculus Rift sometime in the near future.
