If like me, you can't get enough The Witcher content, then you're in luck today. Especially if you're a fan of not only metal music but that wonderful "Toss a Coin to Your Witcher" song from Netflix's The Witcher show. Yes, the original has been covered in the style of a metal song and it's really quite something.

The original song was composed by Sonya Belousova and Giona Ostinelli and performed by Joey Batey, the actor who plays Jaskier, or better known as Dandelion in Netflix's show. It has a runtime of 3:09 and has become incredibly popular online, the Soundcloud version already racking up over 858K plays and numerous clips of the performance from the show have been uploaded to YouTube for those who want to listen to it. There's even a ten-hour version.

The metal cover comes from Leo Moracchioli, a musician who does metal covers of popular songs but also runs Frog Leap Studios in Norway. Their cover changes the pace but also elongates the 3-minute runtime to a whopping 5:24. And yes, that includes a solo, breakdown, and a screamy scream part. You can watch the video below.

Moracchioli doesn't hold back with the props and dons his own Geralt of Rivera wig and colored contact-lenses, the wig looking far more curly than Henry Cavill's hair. The video also shows Moracchioli performing numerous instruments, a floppy sword, and utilizing numerous funny faces to add comedy to the video. There's also some pelvic thrusts thrown in for added effect.

The arrival of The Witcher on Netflix has seen not only the show become one of Netflix's popular shows in 2019, but the video game hit an all-new concurrent peak on Steam for the first time since its release back in 2015.
