Total War: Rome II Gets a New Free DLC Faction Today: Baktria

on December 5, 2013 4:53 PM

While Total War: Rome II had a quite rough start when it was released on PC this September, The Creative Assembly is continuing to release free content at a rather amazing rate.

Today they released Baktria, a new playable DLC faction that will bring us to the extreme east of the map at the reins of one of the many splinters of the massive empire of Alexander the Great.

Veterans of the Successor Wars, the Baktrians are especially effective against other Hellenic armies. They also enjoy increased commercial and industrial income and are able to spread their culture faster.

The best thing of this all? It’s free for anyone that purchased the game.
