For the past few weeks, Creative Assembly and Sega have been showcasing the armies and leaders featured in the upcoming strategy game, Total War Saga: Thrones of Britannia. This week is no different.

The newest cinematic trailer puts Guthfrid of Northymbre in the forefront. Once a slave, the Viking now rules the Anglo-Saxon kingdom striving to build prosperity across his land.

Guthfrid will not be the only playable king in Total War Saga: Thrones of Britannia. Alfred the Great and King Sinna have also received the cinematic trailer treatment flaunting each of their kingdom's power.

Total War Saga: Thrones of Britannia is a product of the Total War Saga project Creative Assembly and Sega announced last July. The spin-off series will be based on specific historical events and help fill the time between the series' bigger releases.

Total War Saga: Thrones of Britannia will launch for PC on April 19 for $39.99. If you pre-purchase the game right now, you'll receive a 10% discount bringing the price down to $35.99.
