TotalBiscuit to be the First Non-Player Inducted into the eSports Hall of Fame
John "TotalBiscuit" Bain will be inducted into the eSports Hall of Fame. He will also be the first non-player in history to earn this honor.
John “TotalBiscuit” Bain is set to be the first non-player in history to be inducted into the eSports Hall of Fame at the upcoming ESL ONE event in Hamburg.
The late TotalBiscuit passed away earlier this year following a prolonged battle with cancer at the age of 33. During his career as a well-versed and often outspoken games critic, he produced countless hours of YouTube footage for his 2.1 million subscribers as well as audio material via WoW Radio.
He was also a lover of competitive gaming having spent time managing and sponsoring events. TotalBiscuit loaned his instantly recognizable voice to commentating during matches.
Recognizing his achievements throughout his career, ESL Gaming announced recently that John “TotalBiscuit” would be the first non-player to be inducted into the eSports Hall of Fame for his “immeasurable” contributions to the gaming scene; stating that his legacy will live on.
The induction will take place later this month at ESL ONE Hamburg 2018 which will take place in Barclaycard Arena from October 26 to October 28.
