Today Aquastyle announced Fushigi no Gensokyo: Lotus Labyrinth, which we can translate as Touhou Genso Wanderer: Lotus Labyrinth considering that it’s the new game of the series that was titled Touhou Genso Wanderer for the west by NIS America.

The announcement was made towards the end of the LiveWanderer 2.0 concert at the Tokyo Kinema Club, livestreamed on Nico Nico. Incidentally, if you have time, I’d suggest watching the recording, because it was really good.

The game is a “party battle RPG,” and the developer announced that it’ll come to PS4 and Switch.  Not much else is known for the moment, but it’ll be playable in alpha version tomorrow at the Hakurei Shrine Festival at the Tokyo Big Sight venue.

If you’re curious to see what it looks like, below you can check out the recording of the announcement trailer.

If you’re interested in the series, the previous game, Touhou Genso Wanderer Reloaded will release in the west this year for PS4 and Switch. You can also check out our review of the original Tohou Genso Wanderer.
