Touhou Kobuto V: Burst Battle Gets Delayed in the West and Adds Nintendo Switch Version

NIS America revealed this morning that Touhou Kobuto V: Burst Battle will receive a release on the Nintendo Switch alongside the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita version.

In addition to Touhou Kobuto V: Burst Battle coming to a new platform, the game has also received a delay in the west across all platforms. Originally set to release in July, the new release date is scheduled for September 5 in North America and on September 8 in Europe.

This delay is said to be due to the new Switch version.

The publisher details the game’s premise:

Touhou Kobuto V: Burst Battle is a bullet-hell battle game that takes place in the Touhou universe. Take control of one of nine Touhou characters and eliminate your opponent using bullet-hell patterns, melee attacks, or spell cards! Featuring ear-tingling beats for each character, you might just find yourself dancing while you play!
