NIS America announced today that Touhou Kobuto V: Burst Battle has been delayed until October 10 in North America and October 13 in Europe in order to "accommodate the production and manufacturing of the game." Alongside that announcement, a new trailer for the game was also released.

For those who aren't aware, Touhou Kobuto V: Burst Battle is a bullet-hell battle game set in the Touhou universe. Players can take control of nine Touhou characters and eliminate their opponents using a combination of melee attacks, bullet-hell patterns, melee attacks, and spell cards.

This marks the second time Touhou Kobuto V: Burst Battle has been delayed. The title was originally set to come out today, June 30, in Europe and on July 4 in North America. The game was then delayed until September 5 in North America and September 8 in Europe in due to the addition of a Nintendo Switch version. Another NISA game, Culdcept Revolt for Nintendo 3DS, also recently faced a similar delay, being pushed back from August 29 to October 3 in North America.

You can watch the new trailer below. Touhou Kobuto V: Burst Battle will release both physically and digitally on Nintendo Switch and PS4 (with PlayStation VR support), but just digitally on PS Vita.
