Today, the latest issue of Weekly Famitsu included the first screenshots of the newly announced PS4 remake of Nihon Falcom's Tokyo Xanadu, that will be released on September 8th in Japan with the title Tokyo Xanadu eX+.

We get the first glimpse on the new visuals, that are definitely cleaner, and on some of the new features, including an "after story" chapter and side stories for some of the characters.

We also learn that the game will run at 1080p, 60 FPS on PS4. There will be many new dungeons and enemies, and a new level of difficulty, named "calamity."

Check the screenies out below, keeping in mind that they're from magazine scans, so the quality isn't as good as direct feed screenshots.
