It may not have the funky soul of Giant Software's Farming Simulator 2013 trailer, but RailSimulator.com's Train Simulator 2014 trailer certainly is a passionate rally cry for "rail fans."

As you can see in the "We Are Rail Fans" trailer below, Train Simulator 2014 is a game that takes locomotives seriously, even encouraging fans to check out the WeAreRailFans.com website and to share their experiences via Twitter with the hashtag #wearerailfans @RailSimulator. As they put it, Train Simulator 2014 is more than a game, "it's a digital hobby."

Train Simulator 2014 will have a slew of features available and improved from the last game, including Google Earth integration that enables highly detailed and diverse routes, an improved marketplace, 100 pieces of downloadable content via Steam, a new user interface, and more. To prove their dedication to fans, RailSimulator.com has also announced its upcoming "Pacific Surfliner" DLC, an expansion that will open up a 128-mile stretch of the California route that links Los Angeles Union Station to San Diego's Santa Fe Depot.

Train Simulator 2014 is set to release as a digital download today on PC via Steam, and tomorrow in North American retail stores (like Walmart and Target). For more details, check out the Train Simulator 2014 website.
