Firaxis revealed today that Roman Emperor Trajan will be leading Rome in Sid Meier's Civilization VI. This is an interesting announcement, as Julius Caesar has consistently been Rome's leader in the Civilization series before this game..

Rome's special ability is called All Roads Lead to Rome, and lets this Civ start automatically with trading posts in new cities, along with automatically making trade routes with cities near your capital for no extra cost.

This Civilization's unique unit is the Legion, which acts as a stronger swordsman, and has the ability to build forts and roads a limited number of times. Baths are Rome's unique district. They provide more housing and amenities than the aqueduct, which it replaces.
