Supergiant Games has just announced that their game, Transistor, will be coming out for both the PC and PlayStation 4 this May.

Here is a brief summary of what Transistor is about from Creative Director Greg Kasavin (taken from the PlayStation Blog):

Transistor is a sci-fi themed action RPG that invites you to wield an extraordinary weapon of unknown origin as you fight through a stunning futuristic city. Gameplay seamlessly integrates thoughtful strategic planning with fast-paced action and rich atmospheric storytelling. During the course of the adventure, you’ll piece together the Transistor’s mysteries as you pursue its former owners.

The team will be attending PAX East this week where they will show off a near final build of the game running on the PlayStation 4. If you’re going to the event, make sure to head over to booth #892 to check this game out. Fun fact, it’s been exactly one year ago since the team showed off Transistor at PAX East 2013.

Transistor will be released on the PC and PlayStation 4 on May 20 and will cost $19.99. For more info, check out the link below.
