Recently, ENGI animation production announced that Trapped in a Dating Sim: The World of Otome Games is Tough for Mobs is getting an anime adaptation. Well, here's everything you need to know about it.

Written by Yomu Mishima and illustrated by Monda, Mobuseka is a famous Japanese light novel. The novel came out in 2017 and concluded two years later with a total of 176 chapters.

The novel follows the story of Leon Fou Bartfort, a boy who gets reincarnated in an Otome game. Now, Leon uses his knowledge of the game to turn every situation in his favor; however, he still finds it challenging to live everyday life in the Holfort Kingdom.

Following the success of the light novel, a manga adaptation of Trapped in a Dating Sim was also released. Now, it's time for Leon's story to be told in the form of animation.

Trapped in a Dating Sim Anime Confirmed

ENGI animation studio launched a website to announce that the anime TV series based on Trapped in a Dating Sim: The World of Otome Games is Tough for Mobs is in production.

Interestingly, the announcement for the anime comes with the first official illustration. Here you go; take a good look at the first teaser visual of the upcoming anime series:

If that's not enough, the studio also released a trailer for the Trapped in a Dating Sim anime. The trailer features all the characters that'll appear in the anime while also giving us a glimpse of the fantastic animation and music.

Interestingly, some of the cast members of the anime adaptation were also revealed:

  • Leon Fou Bartfort (Takeo Otsuka)
  • Olivia (Kana Ichinose)
  • Angelica Rapha Redgrave (Fairouz Ai)

Finally, ENGI confirmed that the upcoming Mobuseka anime will premiere in April 2022. However, the studio has yet to give us an exact release date for the first episode.
