Nintendo Wii goes back to the hospital with the April release of the Trauma series, Trauma Team. As we all know, Trauma is a doctor type game, where surgeries and healing occur, and you are in the driver seat, or in this case, the one with the knife. In this genre Trauma has been a popular game for certain advocates. Basically, it is the only game of its kind. There might have been others, but none ever stood up to them.

Trauma Team has 6 main characters, each specializing in a different field. There is Naomi Kimishima, a Forensics specialist, who can figure out the cause of death in a crime scene. Hank Freebird is an Orthopedics specialist, fixing fractures, bones, and your reflexes. Maria Torres is an EMT, there to keep you alive while transporting you to the hospital. Gabriel Cunningham is a master of diagnostics, figuring out the diseases patients have due to symptoms. He's like House if you think about it. Tomoe Tachibana is an Endoscopy specialist, using endoscopic surgeries to figure out if anything is wrong down below. Then we have CR-S01, a surgeon, there to fix up anybody in need of an emergency treatment. With this cast, Trauma Team will be a great addition to the line of surgery type games. Expect the release date April 20, 2010.
