After being revealed during a Nintendo Direct last year, today we finally saw the first gameplay footage of Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes.

If you're unfamiliar with Travis Strikes Again, it features the return of No More Heroes protagonist Travis Touchdown but this time around he finds himself trapped within a video game console. Throughout Travis Strikes Again, Travis will be forced to play through seven different games and defeat the bosses at the end of each of them to escape the console and return to the real world.

Today's Direct marked the first time that we had seen gameplay from Travis Strikes Again and the many genres that it will offer. We also received confirmation that some of the genres you'll play in throughout the game include action, racing, and puzzle. You can also see a quick glimpse of some of the bosses that Travis will have to face off against in his journey.

In addition to all of this, it was confirmed that you will be able to pass a Joy-Con off to a friend and play Travis Strikes Again in multiplayer. Lastly, there will also be an adventure mode included, though not many details were offered about this mode.

You can find the footage of Travis Strikes Again from today's Nintendo Direct at the bottom of the page. We still do not have a specific release window for Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes but we do know that it'll be due out before the end of the year exclusively on Switch.
