The truck driving simulator genre is a popular one on PC that is dominated by SCS Games and its Truck Simulator on series. That being said, this niche has yet to make it way to consoles. Today, Soedesco and Triangle Studios, the studios behind Real Farm, announced Truck Driver for PC, PS4, and Xbox One, which adds a bit of its own flair to the genre.

While Truck Driver is a simulation game, it also heavily focuses on the community of the town players are driving around in, and their impact on it. As you complete jobs for someone, your relationship will improve, resulting in better jobs being available from them. Additionally, if you help transport goods for a community project, you will see the results of your labor in the environment.

Triangle Studios and Soedesco's last title, Real Farm, was poorly received by both critics and players, so the developers plan on involving the community more in the development of Truck Driver. The game is currently slated to be released on Early Access, and the developers will constantly be releasing new videos and screenshots to get more feedback during development.
