Try Not To Look Surprised: PSP Go Hits Early

Are any of us really surprised?  It should come with the territory now that games and gaming hardware tends to breech ship dates more often than the publishers or manufacturers would like.  First, we heard about the PSP Go a week or so before it was to be officially announced at E3.  Now Engadget is reporting that Sony’s new slim, sexy, hand-held beast has been spotted in the wild three days before its official October 1 release date.  Where?  Target, of all places.  My mother works at Target.  (Just picture the “Target Lady” skits on SNL…yep, that’s her.)  Maybe I should see if she can slip me one under the table.  Needles to say, I’m sure Sony isn’t too thrilled about this, but hey, if you find one floating around out there, feel free to pick it up early and be the envy of your friends for the next two days.
