New Studio TT Games Brighton Focuses On Lego Games for Mobile

Creator of CSR Racing and former head of Boss Alien Jason Avent will take the role of TT Games Brighton's Head of Studio

Today, TT Games announced it has opened TT Games Brighton, a new studio putting a focus on Lego games for mobile platforms. The former head of Boss Alien — the makers of CSR Racing — Jason Avent will head the UK-based studio.

Avent shares his enthusiasm for his new position stating he is “thrilled to be able to create new games encompassing all of the wonderful core values of Lego.” Additionally, he gives some insight on the new titles TT Games Brighton will create saying they will be “accessible, exciting, and of course, packed with the trademark TT Games fun and humor.”

The Managing Director of TT Games Tom Stone comments on the new mobile-focused studio and Avent’s skills stating he is “one of the most experienced and capable developers in this space” with an “exciting vision for the new team.”

TT Games is known for creating a variety of Lego videogame franchises such as Lego Star Wars, Lego Batman, and Lego Harry Potter.

In other Lego videogame news, Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2 received its newest DLC in the form of the Champions Character Pack. The pack included six new characters such as Amadeus Cho, Nova, and Viv, as well as two new variations of the Wasp and Hawkeye.
