Turbine Welcomes Everyone Back to LotRO for Third Anniversary

Turbine is throwing quite the celebration for Lord of the Rings Online‘s third anniversary. They’re letting everyone in on the action, including those who have inactive accounts. From now until May 31 all inactive accounts have been reactivated and you can roam around Middle Earth for free to check things out once more. Perhaps you’ll find something enjoyable that has been added to the game since you last played.

In addition to being able to play for free, you also get a 5% experience boost that stacks with your rested experience and free travel from stable masters throughout the game. If I had the time, I’d love to see what is new in the game, as it was a fun experience during the brief times I played. If you hold one of those inactive accounts and have some time on your hand for the next week, why not give Lord of the Rings Online another shot?
