Turn Your Phone into a Functional Pip-Boy; Fallout 4’s Pip-Boy App Available Now

Fallout 4 is days away at this point, and if you’re feeling the itch to open the Vault and explore the wasteland, you can at least get a small taste of what the next game from Bethesda Softworks has to offer with the game’s second-screen experience.

The official Fallout 4 Pip-Boy app has now been released for both iOS and Android for free, allowing players to download it and get an early look at its functionality with Fallout 4 where players can check their character’s stats, perks, inventory, and much more.

As previously revealed during this year’s E3 2015, the app is designed to work alongside the Fallout 4: Pip-Boy Edition, where users can download the app, put their phone in, and then use the closest we’ll ever get to a real-life, functional Pip-Boy – but no worries, even if you didn’t spring for the Pip-Boy Edition, you can download and use the app on your phone without the fancy collectible.

Fallout 4 releases for PS4, Xbox One, and PC on November 10th, 2015 – the official Pip-Boy app is available now for iOS and Android.
