You're finally playing Twelve Minutes, the latest title from Annapurna Interactive, but you happen to be a little stuck. That's ok as this guide will show you how to keep that cop on the ground.

Twelve Minutes sucks players into a mind-boggling time loop of mysteries where you try to save the day by actually replaying it over and over...and over. Of course, to stop this groundhog experience, you must choose the correct dialogue, make mistakes and be patient.

Since you are here, I'm assuming you have finally worked out the trick to knocking the cop out flat on the ground, right? If for some reason you haven't, you can check out this guide to figure out how to do that first before running headlong into this one and spoiling things.

How to stop the cop from getting up in Twelve Minutes

So you finally have that scary cop on the floor after everything he has put you and your wife through. Your first thought could be to beat the crap out of him but it's best that you don't since he's an important part of this sequence. Unfortunately, even though he is handcuffed, he keeps getting up so how do you keep him down?

  • Once you have handcuffed the cop, you will have noticed other items he has in his possession that will be useful
  • In there you will find his phone, a knife, a gun and many other items but for this, you'll need the gun
  • As he starts to come around, click the gun from your inventory and use it on the cop's leg to shoot it
  • This will prevent him from getting up allowing you to further your interrogation.

Twelve Minutes is out today on PC and Xbox Game Pass. To find out the release times, you can check out this article.
