Dontnod has been quite busy lately. They've just wrapped up Tell Me Why, their latest adventure game on PC and Xbox One, and are to start off their next adventure with Twin Mirror. Fans of the developer likely remember the game's announcement trailer from 2018. At that time, it was still set to be episodic like most of Dontnod's games. However, the team has since decided to move Twin Mirror away from that style and make it a full release on day one. Outside of that, we haven't heard too much about the game outside of a brief appearance at the 2020 PC Gaming Show. It appears that's all changing tomorrow.

" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">the tweet above, Dontnod is teasing a release date for Twin Mirror tomorrow. Of course, it could just be a new trailer, but having that teaser focused on people asking for a release makes me assume that's exactly what this will be. The game is supposedly still coming this year. So, if that's still the plan, they'll have to announce a date soon.

No matter what, I'm certainly intrigued to see what Twin Mirror will bring to the table. We know the game stars an investigative journalist who is going back to visit his hometown. There's also a second world that Dontnod calls his "Mind Palace" and an inner voice that could affect your investigation. Maybe I've just been playing too much Deadly Premonition this year, but that sounds very familiar. That said, I can't wait to see what Dontnod does with this premise. It seems like the perfect thing for the team to dig their teeth into.

Twin Mirror is set to launch on PC, PS4, and Xbox One sometime in 2020.
