Originally revealed in 2018, developer Dontnod Entertainment's upcoming title Twin Mirror has shown promise over the past few years since it was announced. Set in an episodic format like its acclaimed Life is Strange series, Twin Mirror so far seems to be taking players on a very different kind of emotional journey, as we've seen through a new teaser released for the game.

During The PC Gaming Show, developer Dontnod Entertainment shared a new teaser trailer for their upcoming titleTwin Mirror. The new teaser is brief, but still gives a provocative look at the story and tone of the episodic adventure game and the mystery that players will have to unravel over its several episodes.

From what we've seen of it so far, the game will focus on a journalist named Sam Higgins as he investigates strange events and occurrences taking place in his hometown of Basswood, West Virginia. As the name implies, the game also features a unique mechanic where Sam must come to grips with his alter ego, who can either help him in his search for the truth, or hinder his progress in the investigation.

At the moment, there is no confirmed release window or date just yet for Twin Mirror, but the teaser shown at The PC Gaming Show teased that the first episode of the episodic series is "coming soon." At the moment, Dontnod has confirmed that the game will be spread across three episodes, and that the PC version of the game will be exclusive to the Epic Games Store.

Twin Mirror will release for PS4, Xbox One, and PC sometime later this year.
