Twitch to Marathon More than 936 Episodes of Pokémon (and 16 Movies)

The Pokémon Twitch marathon is set to begin on August 27 featuring collectible Pokémon badges, 936 episodes, and 16 movies.

If catching them is your real quest, then the Pokémon Twitch marathon is your cause. Featuring over 936 episode of the animated series and 16 movies, the marathon is set to be the largest in the service’s history.

Beginning on August 27, viewers (or trainers) will be able to collect virtual Pokémon badges via a unique Twitch overlay. We’re not talking about Gym badges, we’re talking about badges that represent the more than 800 pocket monsters. Catching Pokémon (or collecting the badges as you watch) will net viewers points which will place them on a leaderboard that will persist throughout the marathon.

You can find an example of what the stream will look like below.

Episodes will begin to air Monday-Thursday at 10 am PT. Reruns will air on Fridays and Saturdays on /Twitchpresents2, and movies will air every Sunday at 10 am PT. As an adult, this is going to be like waking up before school all over again. Twitch is calling this “just the beginning” of a 10-month Pokémon celebration and is promising more news to come this holiday season.
