While gaming livestreams range from everything to eSports to Let’s Plays on Twitch, one of the more intriguing livestream phenomena of the past few years have been the rise of “Twitch Plays” livestreams where Twitch users can control a select video game through the chat, and now The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is the next game that the Twitch community appears to be taking on.

Over on the Twitch channel Community Controller, numerous Twitch users have gathered in an attempt to play The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild collaboratively by entering commands into the Twitch chat, which of course makes for an extremely challenging (but sometimes hilarious) extra layer of challenge.

Given the complexity of Breath of the Wild, the Twitch stream highlights some of the more elaborate maneuvers that players have at their disposal to command Link throughout the game. However, given that the Twitch community has conquered some pretty demanding games like Dark Souls, hopefully it won’t take too long to take on Breath of the Wild.

The “Twitch Plays Breath of the Wild” livestream is currently live right now – you can watch the stream as it commences down below, or you can head over to the Community Controller Twitch channel to join in on the fun.
