Two Point Hospital Console Release Date Announcement Confirms Leak
Two Point Studios and SEGA's Two Point Hospital is coming out for Nintendo Switch, PS4 and Xbox One on February 25, 2020.
Two Point Studios and SEGA’s Two Point Hospital came out for PC in 2018 and was initially slated for a console release in 2019. Unfortunately, the pair behind the game chose to delay the Nintendo Switch, PS4, and Xbox One ports into 2020 so they could “deliver a game that can be enjoyed to the fullest on all platforms.” At that time, no release window was given outside of 2020, but a leak soon changed that. In late November, a listing appeared on the Microsoft Store for the Xbox One version of Two Point Hospital that said the port was launching on February 25, 2020.
SEGA did not comment on the leak at the time, but today the publisher officially confirmed that February 25 will be the release date for all of Two Point Hospital’s console ports. The game will be available both digitally and physically, with the digital PS4 and Xbox One ports already being available to pre-order in their respective storefronts. These versions of Two Point Hospital come with the Bigfoot and Pebberley Island DLCs in addition to the base game, so it may be worth picking up if you’ve held off on trying this game out for some time.
These ports will drop right before a very busy March and April, though it will be competing with Mega Man Zero/ZX Legacy Collection, Iron Man VR, and One Punch Man: The Hero Nobody Knows the week it comes out. You can check out the trailer revealing Two Point Hospital’s console release date below:
