It's not long until Two Point Studios' hospital management title Two Point Hospital launches on PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch, and to keep us excited, the developer has released a video showing the game running on the PS4.

The video features game designer Ben Huskins, and Senior UI Artist/Designer Lauren Woodroffe as they sit and play Two Point Hospital. The two explain that the game is about building and managing a hospital, in which players progress by curing patients with numerous types of comical illnesses.

Woodroffe explains that the console versions of the game have been built from the ground up to be a console first experience, with a redesigned UI that is capable of working with hotkeys. The two also show off a new feature that allows the player to create a copy of a room to allow for quick building and ease of use.

An overview feature has been added to console versions to allow the player to get a birds-eye view of the hospital which also includes key information the player may need to know.

When the console version of Two Point Hospital launches, players will also get access to the Bigfoot and Pebberly Island expansion packs that are already available for the PC version of the game. The game is a spiritual sequel to Theme Hospital which was developed by Bullfrog Productions. Throughout the game, there are not only familiar cases as seen in Theme Hospital but also references to Bullfrog.

The video does seem to show the game running nice and smooth with the UI looking nice and bold. My one concern is how the UI is going to look on the Nintendo Switch in handheld mode, but I guess we'll find out when Two Point Hospital lands on the Xbox One, PS4, and Nintendo Switch on February 25, 2020. It's currently available on PC.
