Last week, Two Point Studios and SEGA showed the fruits of their partnership that was established over a year ago: Two Point Hospital. The game is a Theme Hospital spiritual successor that is being worked on by some of the same developers as the original. Today, a new trailer for the game was released where the developers explain their true vision for Two Point Hospital.

The video begins with Two Point Studios co-founders Gary Carr and Mark Webley explaining how they have been working on the game for a couple of years, even though they had the idea for almost twenty years. Then the video proceeds to have the game’s Lead Designer Ben Huskins explain some of the mechanics of this hospital business simulation game.

The developers then delve into how they created some of the game’s wackier illnesses like Lightheadedness – when one’s head turns into a lightbulb. They come up with ideas that sound funny, try to realize them in-game, and then find interesting ways that they can be cured. This video also gives us a better look at gameplay, showing how players can customize their hospital to make it feel like their own.

You can check out the developer vision trailer below. Two Point Hospital is poised to release on PC later this year.
