Kazuya Nino, Director of Type-Moon Studio BB, teased on Twitter that one of the studio's games should be revealed soon.

After the Indie Live Expo 2020 event concluded on June 6, Kazuya Nino commented on the various indie developers who announced new games, and said: "I think we should probably announce one of our games soon too... (teasing)"

As a reminder, the establishment of Type-Moon Studio BB was revealed by Type-Moon on August 30, 2019. The studio is led by Kazuya Nino, who used to make the Dragon Quest Builders series at Square Enix. Kazuya Nino in the past also worked on Fate/ Extra and the Etrian Odyssey series. One reason why he left Square Enix, as he explained in his message at Indie Live Expo 2020, is how he was hooked on FTL back when it released, and always wanted since then to work on smaller or indie projects.

Kazuya Nino announced in September 2019 that Type-Moon Studio BB is currently working on three new projects: something related to Type-Moon, something related to Nasuverse in a broad way, and something loosely related to the Nasuverse. He mentioned back then that he'd like to show us something in Summer 2020.

In January 2020, in an interview by our Japanese peers at 4Gamer, Kazuya Nino mentioned again that he'd like to show us one of the games this summer, and hinted that it'll be for PS4, Switch, and PC. Moreover, he specified that out of the three projects, one of them is a medium-sized title produced in collaboration with another development company. Meanwhile, the game that might be revealed this summer is a smaller title exclusively developed by Type-Moon Studio BB.

The original Fate/stay night on PC by Type-Moon celebrated in 2020 its 15th anniversary with an art exposition and an artbook. Read more about the artbook and the art expo here. Moreover, it's noteworthy that the artbook includes an interview with Kinoko Nasu and George Kamitani, President of Vanillaware. The studio's latest game, 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim, which mixes ADV with a tactical RPG + tower defense battle system, is already out in Japan since November 2019. We're also doing a translated Let's Play of the game on YouTube, though it's currently on hiatus as time doesn't permit me to continue for now. However, one good news is how we might get a western release date for 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim on June 12 during IGN's Summer of Gaming, one of the billion of summer events you keep track of with our schedule.

Type-Moon also announced a Tsukihime remake long ago but it still has no release date. Kazuya Nino already stressed that his studio isn't working on the Tsukihime remake, as many contacted him about it. The sequel to Mahou Tsukai no Yoru is unheard of either. FGO is currently celebrating its 5th anniversary. An event, Fate/Grand Order Fes. 2020 in TOKYO DOME ~5th Anniversary~, was supposed to be held on August 10, but was canceled on June 10 due to Covid-19.

Type-Moon Studio BB future updates will be coming via the studio's official site and Kazuya Nino's Twitter account so give it a follow.
