Today, publisher Paradox Interactive and developer Obsidian Entertainment revealed new details about the expansion to the isometric RPG, Tyranny. Not only did we receive a new trailer, but we also learned of the release date for Tyranny: Bastard's Wound.

Tyranny: Bastard's Wound will release for PC and Mac on September 7, and with it will come an entirely new region of the game, along with new quests and many new folks to meet, murder, befriend, and betray. If you've been itching to learn more about your trio of companions, this expansion will also provide new companion quests that are specific to each character.

Tyranny: Bastard's Wound will release for Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems on September 7 for $14.99.

For more information on the expansion, you can visit the official website or you can check out the game's Steam page. Below you will find the cinematic trailer revealed today.

The original Tyranny released on November 10, 2016. Unlike many RPGs, it doesn't tell the story of good vs. evil. Instead, the conflict has already ended with evil as the victor. As an officer of the forces of evil, you will explore the countryside, inspiring loyalty, disgust, and fear amongst remaining civilization.

Notably, when Bastard's Wound releases, so will a free update to the game that will provide it with new voice-acting and a new ending to Tyranny.
