AI, or Artificial Intelligence, is an aspect of game development often overlooked by the fans, possibly because good AI tends to be so subtle that is actually perceived as something natural, pretty much like a good soundtrack.

Today, Ubisoft released a video in which developers from For Honor, Watch_Dogs 2 and Assassin’s Creed Syndicate talk about their work on the games’ AI, and how they enabled it to tell small stories on its own, bringing  a spark of life into the worlds they populated.

While the video is brief, it’s definitely an interesting look on an often ignored aspect of the games we play.

For Honor, Watch_Dogs 2 and Assassin’s Creed Syndicate are all currently available for Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
