Ubisoft on Next Assassin’s Creed: “It’s a Great Game; Looking Good;” Will Release “When Ready”

During Ubisoft’s financial conference call related to the quarter ended on September 30th, CEO Yves Guillemot and CFO Alain Martinez briefly talked about the next Assassin’s Creed.

Guillemot started by mentioning that the company is working hard on the title, but and it’ll be launched when it’s ready.

“We can’t say much about that yet. We are working hard on this game, and it will be launched when ready.”

Martinez chimed in as well, praising the upcoming title:

“And it’s great game; Looking good”

At the moment, not much is known for sure about the next Assassin’s Creed. Rumors hint to a setting in Egypt and to the (possibly not final) title Assassin’s Creed: Empire, but we’ll have to wait and see if they’ll be confirmed down the line.
