During Ubisoft's quarterly financial conference call, Chief Financial Officer Alain Martinez talked about the Nintendo Switch.

Martinez mentioned that the company believes that the console has a strong chance for a comeback among home consoles.

"In light of Nintendo's momentum, with the huge success with Pokémon GO, the 3DS and Pokémon Sun & Moon, it has  a good chance for a strong comeback in the living room."

Earlier in the call, Martinez talked about Just Dance 2107's Nintendo Switch version:

"We received positive retailer response for our day one arrival on the Nintendo Switch where we have a great opportunity to bring back this fantastic brand to even more players."

Chief Executive Officer Yves Guillemot also added that after Just Dance there will be more games from Ubisoft that will be "another few games that will be very strong for the machine."

Nintendo Switch will launch worldwide on March 3rd, and Ubisoft's Just Dance 2017 will release in the same day. It'll be interesting to see if Ubisoft's confidence will prove to be well placed, and which "very strong" games they intend to announce.

For now, all we can do is to wait and see.
