Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot is pretty happy with the results the Assassin's Creed series has delivered for the company so far. So much, in fact, that he's told MCV that the next installment of the series, due this holiday, will be "the biggest to date."

The rest of the interview paints a picture of Ubisoft's philosophy when it comes to franchise planning: It's all about releasing regular installments of a series in order to keep it fresh in the world's mind. He pointed to strong sales of Assassin's Creed Revelations -- which our own Alexa Ray reviewed -- as proof that "the demand is there" for the series. All we know about the third installment aside from what Guillemot divulged here is that it'll star a new protagonist.
