It looks like EA is getting set to step back into the octagon.

EA Sports UFC 4 is now listed on PS4Patches.com (via Gematsu), a database that tracks updates registered to the PlayStation Network, and contains data such as a title and content ID along with a startup icon that offers a look at the game's logo with "Community Feedback Environment" written underneath. So a beta test seems like a near lock to follow soon after an official announcement, which will probably be made at next week's EA Play presentation.

During the company's earnings call back at the beginning of May, EA execs confirmed the latest editions of its annual sports franchises with Madden NFL 21, NHL 21, and FIFA 21, but also threw in that there was one more unannounced game on the way. And considering that UFC has released biannually since its debut in 2014, it was a pretty safe bet that a new installment was in the cards for 2020 (though personally I was holding out hope for a Fight Night: Champion follow up).

There's likely going to be more to come out of EA leading up to next week's showcase. We'll keep you posted on the way there.
