Japan loves to mix girls with everything. They started with cats, then moved on to rabbits, World War II fighters and even warships. Now it’s time for Cygames’ hybrid between girls and… derby horses.

UmaMusume means exactly that, “Horse Maidens,” and in the upcoming mobile games by the developer that made the massively popular GranBlue Fantasy, you’ll train them, make them go to school, and watch them race, before enjoying their inevitable idol side in cute concerts.

For the moment, the game doesn’t have a specific release date, coming as a full-fledged multimedia project including an anime series and more.

Hailing from sunny (not as much as people think) Italy and long standing gamer since the age of Mattel Intellivision and Sinclair ZX Spectrum. Definitely a multi-platform gamer, he still holds the old dear PC nearest to his heart, while not disregarding any console on the market. RPGs (of any nationality) and MMORPGs are his daily bread, but he enjoys almost every other genre, prominently racing simulators, action and sandbox games. He is also one of the few surviving fans of the flight simulator genre on Earth.
