Unannounced Game Probably for PlayStation Platforms Teased by Capcom’s Yoshinori Ono

Looks like Capcom Senior Producer and all-round nice guy Yoshinori Ono has something up his sleeve, as over the past few days he talked about a trip between Hong Kong and China for an unnamed “next title.”

I had business travel and research for something new at Hong Kong with Blanka. I had with the motivation!! : D

Visiting to China from Hong Kong! I’d like to catch up a lot of report and material for next title! ; D

Today he returned to Japan, thanking the Sony Computer Entertainment staff, which quite clearly indicates the trip was made in collaboration with Sony, probably meaning that the game is going to appear on PlayStation platforms.

I’ll back to home! Thanks to SCE staff! See you : D

There are basically no info on what the game Ono-san mentioned could be about, but Consumer Game Business Executive Corporate Officer Katsuhiko Ichii did mention a couple weeks ago that more games utilizing Deep Down’s engine Panta Rhei are in development, so this one could be one of those.

In addition to that, considering that Ono-san talked about traveling for “research,” the game could be set in Hong Kong and/or in China.
