Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End Didn’t Look Like the PlayStation Experience Demo Just Three Weeks Ago

During the “Story Time” panel held at PlayStation Experience, PlayStation Software Product Development Head Scott Rohde talked about how quickly Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End is evolving.

Rhode mentioned that he’s been following the development internally for a long time, and that just two or three weeks ago the game didn’t look like it did in the demo showcased at PlayStation experience.

It has to be Uncharted 4. I know that’s kind of the boring answer, but seeing that in development all along, I mean, even seeing it frankly two or three weeks ago, didn’t look like that two or three weeks ago. Those guys are amazing. They pulled it off.

Additionally, we also get a couple glimpses of Nathan Drake’s model from the character design panel at PlayStation Experience, courtesy of level designer Emilia Schatz and No Man’s Sky Art Director Grant Duncan.

Considering just how good the game looked when it was showcased on stage, if it really evolves that fast, we can definitely expect an even sweeter treat the next time Sony will show it off. Hopefully we won’t have to wait until E3.
