Easter may be over but there are still plenty of eggs to be found in video games.

Recently, there seems to be a surge in Easter Eggs being found in the popular games we all know and love. Whether it's from The Last of Us Part 2 or It Takes Two, those sneaky little treasures are popping up all over the place and we love it.

It's hard to believe that years after a title's release, inquisitive players still manage to find easter eggs secretly tucked away inside a game's nooks and crannies. While some take some work to uncover, others sometimes need a little hint from the developer.

Assassin's Creed enters Uncharted 4's World

Animator Jonathan Cooper who worked on the Naughty Dogs Uncharted series, as well as The Last of Us and Assassin's Creed, recently found himself in a conversation on Twitter surrounding the topic of Easter Eggs hidden by devs in a game.

Cooper decided that this was the best time to disclose a little secret animation he had hidden in Uncharted 4 when he was working on it.

Hidden in plain sight

Cooper stated that he hid an Assassin's Creed synchronization in Uncharted 4 that sees Nathan Drake standing on top of a clock tower just like in the Creed titles.

We've already learned about the Assassin's Creed Easter egg in Lost Legacy but most players had no idea that Uncharted 4 had exactly the same one, too.

Cooper said that one of the reasons the synchronization easter egg lay mostly uncovered for so long is that the animation only kicks in when players don't touch their controllers for some time.

Where can you find the Assassin's Creed Easter Egg in Uncharted 4?

The clock tower is located in Chapter 11 - Hidden in Plain Sight. The main door to the tower is locked, but if you travel around it to the right and walk across the ledge, hop over to the pillar, you can then climb up onto the ledge and up the side of the tower.

That's after you've been inside and completed the puzzles, of course.
