Naughty Dog has announced that they have released Update 123.070 for Uncharted 4: A Thief's End, and it's not just a simple bug fix.

As detailed in the notes, the main point of this new patch is to fix a major problem within the multiplayer's functionality. At the beginning of every Ranked Season, each player's progress from the previous season is supposed to reset, however a bug was preventing some players ranks from being reset when Season 5 began. In order to alleviate this issue, Naughty Dog has reset all players Ranked season progress, and ended Season 5. Players will be able to keep any rewards they obtained during the Season 5 run, and Season 6 will go live with the patch.

In order to be sure that every player who wants to earn it can, Naughty Dog also said that the Season 5 exclusive Cowboy Hats can be earned during Season 6, in addition to the Season 6 exclusive Sniper Masks.

Naughty Dog also detailed two other fixes with the patch, which can be found below:

BALANCE AND FIXES

  • Added death region to Village to prevent exploit
  • Increase LP cost of Drake’s Aegis to 3 LP

Players should be able to download the latest patch now.

Throughout the past year since it's release, Naughty Dog has regularly updated the games multiplayer with new maps, modes, and skins. Uncharted 4: A Thief's End was released on May 10th, 2016, exclusively on the PlayStation 4. We gave the game a 10.0, which in our book is a masterpiece.

Uncharted: The Lost Legacy is Naughty Dog's next game in their hit series, and will be released on August 22nd, 2017. The game was originally intended to be single-player DLC for Uncharted 4: A Thief's End, but soon turned into its own game.
