It's almost here. Today Sony Interactive Entertainment and developer Naughty Dog announced that their upcoming game Uncharted: The Lost Legacy has gone gold, meaning development on the game has finished, and the final version has been shipped to Sony.Naughty Dog took to Twitter to announce the news, releasing a GIF of the gold copy at the same time. 

Uncharted: The Lost Legacy sees Chloe Frazer and Nadine Ross (first introduced in Uncharted 2: Among Thieves and Uncharted 4: A Thief's End respectively) searching for the Tusk of Ganesh, buried deep in the mountains of India. Along the way, they'll have to fight the forces of a warlord named Asav.

Last month, Naughty Dog unveiled a brand new demo for the game which featured Chloe and Nadine traversing through a thick jungle. Back in April, Naughty Dog Director of Communications aArne Mayer said that the game could potentially be over ten hours long.

Uncharted: The Lost Legacy is set to be released on August 22nd, 2017, and will be available exclusively on the PlayStation 4. Players who pre-order the game will receive Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy for the PlayStation 4 at no extra cost. Digital pre-orders will also nab you Jak and Daxter, however you'll also receive an exclusive theme created by Truant Pixel.
