Truant Pixel has come a long way since it was put under the spotlight for its great PS4 themes released in a period in which the themes section of the PlayStation Store was pretty much flooded with crap (it partly still is, mind you).

They released their own game VEV: Viva Ex Vivo, and they're working on a second, Akash: Path of the Five, and more and more high profile developers have contacted them to create PS4 themes based on their own titles.

The culmination of this ascent (at least for now), is the pre-order bonus theme for the upcoming Uncharted: The Lost Legacy by Naughty Dog, and true to Truant Pixel tradition, it really looks great. You can check it out in a video at the bottom of the post.

This isn't the only theme that was recently presented by the team, as they also unveiled one for Tequila Works' RIME, which will also be provided to those who pre-order the theme. Both themes are certainly a long shot from the static backgrounds provided by many big publishers.

Uncharted: The Lost Legacy will release on August 22nd exclusively for PS4, while RIME will come earlier, on May 26th. It will be released on PS4, Xbox One and PC, and on Switch at a later date, but of course only the PS4 version will get the theme.
