Triple Hill Interactive, the developer who brought us Bacteris for iOS and Android devices, has revealed that its next game will be a PC real-time strategy game about guiding the underwater evolution of an alien planet's life.

In Underflow, players will control microbots responsible for nurturing the evolutionary progression of an alien ecosystem. The game will take players to locations such as beautiful blue coral reefs, shallow coasts, and the deepest underwater trenches. However, it's not going to be an entirely peaceful drift through the water.

As you bring up your own microscopic life, there are other microbots doing the same. In order to defend the lives of your microbots, you must use them to strike at others who threaten your survival. By utilizing your units' health as power, you can neutralize them and convert them to your control. Just be wary that you don't let your guard down, as others will try to take advantage of those microbots you've left unattended.

Underflow is currently in development for PC, Mac, and Linux devices. It is expected to release sometime in 2018. For more information on the game, check out its official website. You will also find a recently released, Underflow announcement trailer featuring Underflow's gameplay below.
