We've known for a few weeks now that Toby Fox's indie classic Undertale was likely due to make its debut on Switch in September when we learned that the physical editions of the game would be shipping in this month, but now we have a more firm date on the game's official release.

Announced during today's Nintendo Switch Nindies live stream, it was announced that Undertale will officially be coming to Switch next month on September 18.

For those that have never played Undertale before, I could not recommend it anymore. This RPG plays off of many tropes found within the genre while simultaneously introducing you to one of the most memorable casts of characters in any game I have ever played. Having previously played Undertale on PS Vita as well, I can tell you that it feels right at home on a handheld device.

Undertale will only set you back $14.99 when it launches next month and it's worth that price and more, in my humble opinion. If you're looking for further confirmation of just how good this one is, be sure to check out our review from last year where we awarded it with our highest possible score.
