Brief Battles is an Underwear-Fueled Party Game Releasing May 7th
Underwear battler Brief Battles is out on PC, PS4, and Xbox One on May 7, 2019. Nintendo Switch launching later this year.
Developer Juicy Cupcake has announced Brief Battles will make its underwear-filled debut on PC, PS4, and Xbox One debut on May 7, 2019. Players can make sure their “butt reigns supreme” in this party game of multiplayer mayhem.
The main mode of the game is an arena battler (think Smash Brothers) with super-powered underpants. As you fight your friends, you’ll be picking up various special briefs to imbue you with different powers.
From protective buns of steel to toxic tighty-whities to flaming hot pants, the undies you’ll be picking up can quickly change the flow of combat. Every character starts with the same basic abilities so getting these powered-up panties is of utmost importance.
Of course, every platform brawler needs a variety of characters. Brief Battles has that in the form of their Underwearriors. There are six original characters from the Underwear-verse (as I’m now calling it), but, in the new trailer, a few crossover characters were revealed. Underwearriors based on characters from Yooka-Laylee, Bit.Trip Runner, Machinarium, and more will join the main crew.
Juicy Cupcake is packing the game with 50 different 2.5D arenas spread across five unique regions. From ice worlds to the desert, you’re sure to see tons of obstacles to change the fights up even more.
If you need a break from competition, Brief Battles is including a series of solo and co-op challenges for you to play through. As you enter each arena, you’ll be tasked with battling back hordes of baddies in underwear-fulled chaos.
