With Halloween right around the corner, this week is the perfect opportunity to cozy up with a good horror game and be scared out of your mind. Whether you're digging in to recent releases like Amnesia: Rebirth or old favorites, there are plenty of options leading up to Halloween on this Saturday, including the console debut of the experimental horror title Stories Untold.

Publisher Devolver Digital has announced that Stories Untold will be heading to PS4 and Xbox One tomorrow, October 27, bringing the experimental text-adventure game to new platforms right on time for Halloween. Previously, the game launched in 2017 on PC and was brought to Nintendo Switch earlier this year, bringing the title to four platforms in total with its PS4/Xbox One debut this week.

You can check out the launch trailer for the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game below:

For those unfamiliar with the game, Stories Untold is a collection of four experimental horror stories from developer No Code, which features a mix of text adventure and first-person gameplay. Since its release, Stories Untold has received acclaim for its unique take on horror storytelling in games, which is sure to be an interesting diversion from more traditional horror experiences that you might have played. Following its release, No Code also released Observation in 2018, which takes a different approach as a sci-fi adventure thriller set on a space station.

Stories Untold is available now on Nintendo Switch and PC, and will be coming to PS4 and Xbox One on October 27, 2020.
