Super Smash Bros. for Wii U/3DS Will Be Focus of New Nintendo Direct on April 8th

Nintendo is about to release plenty of big titles this year against the current-gen consoles, with possibly the biggest being the latest iteration of the Super Smash Bros. series arriving for both Wii U and 3DS sometime in 2014 – luckily, more details for the game are on their way, and sooner rather than later.

The company has announced that a new Nintendo Direct focused entirely on the upcoming Wii U and 3DS versions of the game will be coming on April 8th, 2014, with more details and video shown of the latest Super Smash Bros. title.

Throughout the year so far, a number of characters have been revealed for the upcoming iteration of Nintendo’s long-running fighting series, including the reveal of plenty of veteran fighters and a handful of newcomers, including Mega Man and Little Mac, though no release date information has been given so far.
